First we have OS X, [possibly the best OS in the world], and then we had Google X.

Google X featured an alternate way to connect to Google's various services, allowing people to click on a series of graphical icons in a method inspired by a feature in Apple's operating system.

The experiment site was pulled a day after its debut, but you can still google-x at the mirror sites here: EaglesCraig.net, thejosher.com and The Place for It All, and Evilpig, where you can choose from six language versions.
